This where we would reach if there wasn't this filler chunin arc. Some people are saying its better than the future events in the manga. Fk their logic, because including random unknown characters is better than seeing the main characters fight lol

You do realize if there were no filler, than the anime would have been at the Kaguya fight already. I like the filler, since it interesting, and its adding more to anime in depth of what happened during the time skip.

I enjoy good fillers over watching the story I've already read, only animated.

Once I started reading the manga, canon anime immediately lost its appeal to me because I'd already seen it. There's no suspense or interest when you already know what's going to happen. On top of this, I didn't really enjoy too much of the canon material that has yet to be animated.

So then, the only real appeal of watching the anime is to see nice, high quality, fluid animation, which hasn't been the case for the past few years. All of this makes it so that I don't really look forward the canon material. So yes, I would rather watch the filler chuunin exams and I am enjoying it more than the canon material.

We get to the Madara fight eventually anyway.

Some fillers are interesting to watch. Like the current chunin exams.
I like to see how they go, because that was never shown in the manga.
