It says it consumes the user's life...I wonder how Sasuke is immortal.

I don't think "consumes the user's life" is referring to blindness. Also, you are implying that Sasukek has never used the Susanoo before EMS.

Chrakra Drain is a mix of the users Physical energy and spiritual energy. By saying it drains the user's life it means their life force. Basically, depending on the skill of the user, it drains their energy (chakra) but at vast amounts. Of course since some Uchiha's develop chakra control then this becomes not that big of a problem.

Then what else, after eading the actual manga, could it possibly be referring to? Where has it ever mentioned side effects of the Susano'o, besides blindness? No where.

The wiki is written by people just like you and me, so they know just as much as we do.

And no, Sasuke used Susano'o before EMS, and almost went blind, remember? Hence the, "Consuming ones life."

Susanoo doesnt consume life imho.
It just forces ur body for a greater chakra output, sort of 1-8 Gates. As result u feel aftermath

Normal Mangekyo Sharingan users will go blind with continuous use. That should sum it up. Ergo: Sunanoo will cause blindness in the long run.
