So Tired of "Sannin"

I'm so tired of "Sannin" being thrown around on this site like it's the most awesome thing in the world. While Jiraya, Orochimaru, and Tsunade are really boss and great shinobi, the title given to them is so lame!!!

If you'll all remember they gained the title while fighting Hanzo, they didn't beat him mind you, they just gave him a hard time so he gave them the name. At the end of the day...they didn't win!

Someone in a post a few weeks ago said that being called a sannin was pretty much the same thing are being called a b****. Idk who it was but I agree and I wish people would stop name dropping it like it's BA. Don't get me wrong I don't think they're weak by any means, but the way they got the title is for sure.

We should give them a new team name that represents the awesomeness that they became after the 3rd ninja war. How about...Team Legendary Bad A**es?!

If you was fighting agenst 3 Super strong people. and they give you a run for your money. you would wanna give credit where credit is due no?

I agree that it was just a title given to them by Hanzo and at the time might not have meant much but I think their subsequent skills and actions gave the title it's worth. The title Sannin is something to be in awe of because of who they became

No one's doubting their abilities and they didn't even almost win. They were breathing hard and out of breath and he was just chillin. I''m not saying they don't deserve a title, they are amazing but who wants to be called legendary for being close to almost winning? Does that really make sense?

I thought the name I came up with was lame until you put it in acronym form now its cool! TLDA?! I wanna be in that organization!! But yes...I wish I would've thought of something better, but alas I do not know Japanese so nothing I come up will be cool enough anyway.

i kinda wondered that myself i mean hanzo just gave them the title sanin cause of ther bravery he even stated refer to themselves as such in exchange for letting them live to me seeing how they got there titles kinda disappointed me how ever since then they have become Tremendously strong in there own right

Yes how they got the name was very lame, I would have been embarrased to use it under those circumstances xd but because of what they have done no-one remembers that. They are "legendary" now and it doesn't matter if two are now dead I think the name will continue to have worth

If they were ever to give the title to someone else (although I don't think they will) it would have to be someone spectacular.

it's all about different era's, the current era where they were named sannin was an extremely big deal in shippuden, there skills were unheard of back then, and gave hanzo a tough time dealing with them. were as in this upcoming era. more and more extremely talented ninjas are popping out of the series and surpassing the previous era, its just the way the cycle has been running. they deserve to be called sannin, and carry that title.
soon or later Konohamuru will surpass naruto, would that mean naruto is weak? No.

he would've killed them on the spot if they didnt except the title i was very disappoint after hearing all that hype about the sanin throu the series and thats how they got it p.s It is funny how they lived up to their names 10 years later hahaha

my mistake.

all we saw was the ending to there battle, for all we know it could of lasted 10days. im not mad or upset im just telling it as is. they deserve the title thats all
