I meant when him and hashirama fought, the purpose of him living despite the fact that hashi killed him. He either swapped with limbo/ black zetsu/kaguya's will saved him then so that she could use him to bring her self back.

Those clones existed in a parallel yet present dimension. He is gone for now.

Think about it, every sharingan has a unique ability to the user. Madara could've had limbo since he had rennigan/ms. Limbo could've been madara's unique ms ability just like how obito has kamui etc. If madara had limbo...why didnt all the other wielder of his rennigan posses the same ability.

Thats what im saying...the ability was unique to madara, so he must've had it beforehand.

He didn't have limbo because he didn't have rinnegan

What im saying is his rennigan evolved from ms and mixture of hashi dna, his ms would have had a unique ability, i mean so far we havent been shown madara's unique ms ability. Limbo is the only possible ability he could have, you dont honestly expect his susano to be all there is..right?
