So this is it, the end of an era.

It seems that through all the years I never really did think about the end.
Now its here and I feel weird.

I'm only 20, I feel like I've grown up with these characters.

Overall, I'm happy with the ending and its annoying seeing some people get upset and pissy about the ending.
A strange sense of pride has washed me, seeing it end and seeing all the characters grown up with children of their own.
It was ended on a happy and heartwarming note, and I was not disappointed. Kudos to Kishimoto for entertaining us all.
I loved every bit of this crazy, inconsistent, nonsensical, eccentric, fantastic story. I look forward to enjoying it with my son when he gets older.

OT: I am glad you enjoyed it. I don't mind the sappy "happily ever after" ending too. It doesn't matter that everything wasn't wrapped up (it leaves some mystery to the Narutoverse) As you said OP, all and all most of us grew up right along side our favorite Characters so it is Bittersweet to seem them grow up, move on, and live.
