The akatsuki's goal in the 4th war was to capture the 8 and 9 tails , revive the juubi and cast infinite tsukuyomi , all of which they accomplished. The ninja alliance's goal was to prevent that , they didn't. So then.. The akatsuki won? :/

A lot of people don't seem to get it. Obito's side of the war including Kabuto, all edo tenseis and white zetsus were what the shinobi forces officially considered akautski's team. Look on the wiki for fourth great shinobi war. It even says stuff like "akautski victory". That is what the OP is referring to.

He is not referring to akautski as just the original 9 or 10 members who followed Nagato (or Yahiko's version).

Anyway, yes akautski won the war technically.
