Sarada is probably going to be Sakura's daughter (hope its' Karin) and SHIN was just a filler villain.

So if Sakura is Sarada's mum basically everything was filler and pointless because Shin is not in the movie and it was just development for Sakura,Naruto,Cho cho and Lord Sasuke.

We also got a bit of info about taka but that was pointless.

Also we barley got any action, Sasuke just squished that fodder ... so pointless

exactly, I really thought it(Sarada's mother) was karin and still hope it is. But as the las chapter approaches, I can't help but feel that Kishi was simply just trolling us.

It didn't deliver on anything I wanted from it, but I ended up enjoying it decently all the same. Shin ended up being unimpressive, to the point where I was actually far more interested in his clones than in him, and the action wasn't particularly interesting. Sarada was an alright character, though, and Mitsuki continues to interest me. I hope Boruto's movie is better.

Well if it's a filler I'll just be sure not to have anything to do with it after I finish it. but seriously Gaiden has been nothing but a huge disappointment. After having such a great ending and a great story then we get this piece of trash and also what the heck is the Scarlet Spring? Did they mention it and I just missed it or was that just something Kishi just thought it sounded cool. Really hoping that Boruto the movie has a better story then this
