How does that refute the earlier statement concerning 'two of the most powerful clans'? Uchihas were never overhyped nor overrated, this latest chapter doesn't refute that earlier statement at all. Secondly, the chapter is from Hashirama's perspective as it's HIS anecdote not an unbiased treatise from a third source. Do tell how he found out that the people coming over to his Clan's side were just not tired of fighting, as this was the reason that led to a truce and the clan turning its back on Madara?
The last pages show Madara fighting 8 or so Senju and then being put down. This proves basically nothing. Who else is strong in Senju Clan other than Hashirama and Tobirama Senju? Izuna dying in battle doesn't show his inferiority; people die in battle. One side has to lose for the other to win. One man dies for another's victory; it's the basic philosophy of war. It doesn't prove your point at all.
The Uchihas were tired of battles and losing loved ones, but Madara obviously couldn't put aside the loss of his last and only living relative. If anything, I have nothing but respect for Madara, who upheld his love for his brother no matter what. Senju Clan other than Hashirama have been portrayed as nothing but rights hoarding, war mongering, subjugating, and ill-omened Clan something Tobirama accused Uchiha of. Now I finally understand Madara's hatred.
