At the very least She had Mokuton jutsu, or at least could manipulate Mokuton without hand seals. Likely in a far superior manner to Hashirama. Rinnegan.....hmmm not sure its likely because the new back story has Rikudo have the Rinnegan since birth. Then why did his kids not inherit the Rinnegan like a bloodline? If it passed from mother to son why not to the Uchiha and Senju?

Its possible she had very similar capabilities to current Madara in a non-edo form.

Because she was a princess she was likely just wanting the fighting to stop in an innocent way. Perhaps there was a legend about this fruit that stated she could be granted great power by eating from it. However it probably came with some ind of price like Not having children, perhaps the Juubi traded with her for the power and she double crossed it.

Whether she was strong or not... she was the one who changed the world the most. Based on anything we've heard in the Narutoverse, she's had the biggest impact. I really hope to see this story played out in full at some point. Whether the Sage appears to Naruto when he breaks some boundary or something and explains the origin of all things in the current Narutoverse (much like Kushina manifestation before Naruto).

Besides all that, I'm not sure I like the idea of a tree like this that gave humans chakra. The way it has always been in my mind is that in this universe, chakra was a basic human feature. Now we learn that there must be people outside this continent that do not have chakra at all! Not sure how I feel about this idea.

Makes me ask the question. Do Samurai have chakra or are they using something else for their projectile sword techniques?
