Together, combine or alone is Zamasu(Fusion).

They always had a way to defeat any villains that step on their way. Strating from Frieza and then Cooler, Broly, Cell, Buu and finally Janemba even in GT Goku managed to defeats Super Shenron using his own attack powered by life energy around universe but they need to summon Zeno to kill Zamasu

So to say Zamasu is the only opponent who Goku or/and Vegeta cant defeat is true, right?

Well with time they could be stronger than any except for Zeno..

Zamasu though he was Immortal compared to the guys you mentioned so it would've been a lost for them anyway, single or fused..

If they could continue on then the possibilities for them are endless.. Just think, they are exchanging fist with their G O D & training with their Angel right now.. Not immortal but on a different pinnacle then they are, so with time they could go beyond even them ..

Immortal Zamasu though!
Not a fair battle like the others, out powered or not they at lease had a chance at victory unlike with Zamasu..

I think buu also is immortal, at least 'specific' immortal. Only can be killed by pure positive energy.

Zamasu is the same but unless Goku and Vegeta can figure out Zamasu's immortality weaknesses but they dont have much time. On the level of high god immortality

Well for Buu I wouldn't say he was Immortal but he had a regeneration that was not seen before.. (Pure energy or positive also played a part because he was pure evil or negative energy if you will)

Thing with Zamasu was that he didn't have the regen problem or a flaw in his Immortality because he was a Kaioshin before his immortality..
He fixed his flaw which is why they needed Zeno to erase him from time/existence..
They didn't stand a chanced against him being a Immortal of his caliber..

Zamasu cheated and had no way to get killed. He even used hostages to survive otherwise Goku would of ended him with destruct.
