He didn't use RSM. He used BSM to protect the kids and all he did was attack Shin with a chakra arm. That wasn't even trying. I think somehow his Rikudo Senjutsu was mixed with his bijuu chakra and manifest whenever he goes BM. His chakra arms looks similar to his chakra arms in RSM, but the chakra cloak is way different. His pants should be black too and he should have the RSM symbol (Those tomoes with the rinnegan looking symbol) on his back if he was in RSM.

I think that he goes RSM when he uses the chakra from all the bijuu with the sage's senjutsu, but this chapter he just used Kurama's chakra with the sage's senjutsu (Maybe for sensing attacks from behind), which means he can still go a step beyond the form he showed in today's chapter. Anyways, he only used BSM to protect Sarada and Chocho from the attack. Using a chakra arm doesn't even require him to go beyond KCM, but he needed BSM to protect the kids.

Don't you think the Hooded man won't do a thorough research on Sasuke's ability prior to when Shin was sent against Sasuke?

If he did thorough research on sasuke he wouldn't try to fight him at all. Let alone send a kid to do it

But against Naruto, he believed that he has a chance and decided to use MS. Even though he failed, he believes Naruto to be weaker than Sasuke

Lol these topics are a joke.. Sasuke barley use sharingan and was said to be very powerful and Naruto use a hybrid form of RSM AND KCM and was said this is one guy you can't beat... If Sasuke would've used EMS he would probably get a flee on sight tag lol.
