So i think the byakugan is so underrated in the series I mean out of the three great eye jutsu it can see the best. The Sharigan got way overpowered in part two. I think the reason the author never wrote a super powerful huga is because than he couldn't use the Uchiha for the main villains because when you think about it a byakugan user has resistance to genjutsu cause they can see their own chakra being disrupted and stop it. Not to mention that neji stated that the gentle fist can be used to destroy anything made out of chakra (cough*...Susanoo... cough*) Now that we see Kaguya has the Byakugan I hope to see more of its full potential and who better than the strongest person in the verse to do it

Gentle fist probably could destroy susanoo with enough blows but sadly the caster would have to be completely idle or asleep to let this happen. Susanoo has been shown to be broken through with taijutsu and gentle fist is capable of destroying chakra so it is possible but by no mean would it be easy to do. Neji would have to learn to open gates to gain the speed and strength advantage to make this scenario seem possible.

the point of that statment was that they can see through their eye lids just fine as in they can still see and fight with their eyes closed perfectly which means sharingan is useless (unless your using Izanagi....) so your argument is shut down

yeah because hinata's father who could deflect a juubi tail by himself doesn't have enough strength or speed to be a challenge....okay...and you act like rotation isnt just as good a shield as susanoo the only thing thats makes susanoo better is that it can last for long periods of time and before everybody got op as hell using MS skills was well balanced where they couldn't be used for long periods of time without it leaving stress on the user now you can spam them for hours my whole point for this thread was just to state that the byakugan is more versatile and has more potential than the Sharingan...thats just common sense

Have you forgot how Ao with his eye shut was able to deduce Danzo with Shisui eyes (The greatest Genjutsu of all time ) by directly looking through the eyes so more likely they're more immune to it .
