And now we have Madara leashing all nine Bijuu in a couple of minutes as opposed to the Akatsuki's 15 or so years effort, and what's worse is that the former managed it one-eyed and when the Bijuu were all working together against one man as opposed to split up to face two man teams.

Well let's be honest, Madara is just in a league of his own. He is one of the very few that could take on the Akatsuki on his own.

On a side note, maybe they could have done it faster if they had them all in one place at one time

Well, i'd say a stronger character was introduced. Simple as that. Also, he's the final villain, the real threat, the akatsuki filled the narutoverse but they were meant to fall by the heroes hands.
But during the war, Kishi didn't make a good work managing all the fights, it wasn't just akatsuki. All the fights seemed quite rushed to me.
Instead of having 30+ chapters of Madara and the Alliance going back and forth, ~10 chapters of the kages battling a useless fight which only consumed time or dunno how many chapters of the Juubi doing i don't even remember what such was the disinterest, i'd prefer to see for example Hiashi vs Hizashi in detail or Sasori vs Kankuro.

madara had it easy, all the bijuus were in the field

the akatsuki didn't had it that easy, they needed to go all over the world

well how does it not make sense?...they were already captured(=weakened state) they had no jinchuriki and they were all in the same place. plus madara had hashirama cells and pretty much is kinda a god of shinobi......also akatsuki had to search the whole world in order to find them.....

well It would have take more time , If madara would have fought their Jinchuurikis + Akatsuki had to travel around NV to find all Bijuus ...+ they were protected by entire villages , in the other case , nobody was helping bijuus , against Madara. Not to mention Madara's League.

well thats not fair to the akatsuki members because madara can extraxct bijuu from hosts almost at will the akatsuki have to fight the jinchuriki leaving them on the brink of death...

certain members never faced jin or bijuu 1 vs 1 because either konoha shinobi were in the way or some other random ninja, if the akatsuki members had fought the bijuu or jin 1 vs 1 they would have won every time

also madara brought back was highly powerful he has his own ems power+hashirama's so how can they compete with that...nagato is the only akatsuki member that can do that but even he has to leave the jin on the brink of death

At least Nagato was defeated in a good way by the joint efforts of three very powerful shinobi, but look at Kakuzu, he got Ten-Ten'd
