it doesnt matter....sir derps theory was that (before SO6P) the uzumaki clan was around...everyone had chakra..just didnt knwo hwo to use it.. and than one day the SO6P was born into the uzumaki clan from an uzumaki couple. but that turned out not being true.. his mother who wasnt an uzumaki(the important one, consdiering she was the first and only one with chakra in her clan and any other clan) is enough to say hsi theory was wrong. no matter who his dad is. even if he is an uzumaki. the SO6P didnt get his powers from the uzumaki and he wasnt born into the uzumaki clan...plus chakra wasnt around as we now know. i didnt study sir derps theorys but im sure u can find alot mroe inconsistancey. people seem to forget his theorys were all based off of religion..not many manga facts..

Don't really understand what you're trying to say. Derp said that the sage was of uzumaki descant, meaning the clan had already existed. He was proven wrong, all clans in existence that use chakra are descendants of the sage, the sage is the ancestor of ninjutsu.

The problem is not Sir Derp's theory, but his conviction that made him to exchange the word theory with fact.

PS: All shinobi descends from the Sage, he was the first human born with chakra.

so that means that the sages dna has been busier then hashirama's. and we all thought it was hashiramas dna that was so badass and that everyone wanted. also this chapter explained alot pretty much explained the origin of wood release, and i guess it makes sense that hashirama was so op now. i mean to be able to go up against madara with wood release, sharingan and rinnegan, while only having one kkg himself.

Yes.... The Uchiha are referenced by the Sharingan on the flower of the tree.

Yes.... The Senju are referenced by the Wood of the tree.

However, as somebody has also observed, the Fruit of the tree does bare the Uzumaki Symbol.

We have not been told who the Sages father was. Uzumaki has been present throughout (Uchiha Tablet, Uzumaki Shrine, etc). I would not necessarily say Derps Theory has failed... yet. I am waiting for Kishi to complete his storytelling. I have a feeling there is more to come.

I would like to know (from Kishis/Madaras mouth) the connection of the Uzumakis (even in regards to the fact that the fruit on the tree had their symbol).

Dude give it up... really. The Sage's last name is not Uzumaki, therefore he is not Uzumaki. If his father was Uzumaki then he would have taken his father's name which would be customary.

But Kishimoto did mention that his mother was a Princess, which would mean that if her husband, his father, was not of Royal Lineage then customs may be broken, and she along with her son may, MAY, keep there surnames. But even that is a stretch of the imagination.

Dont get me wrong I love the Derpman as much as the next guy, but I think at this point we are starting to stretch for ways to make the Sage an Uzumaki as oppose to following the facts where they lead us.

I think at this point you can argue that the Sage may have been Half Uzumaki, but him being Fully Uzumaki is out of the question. We know his mother is not an Uzumaki.
