In a way, if you mean that they had the same origins they yes, however if you mean that Sharingan is coming from Byakugan then no.
Kaguya had both Rinnegan and Byakugan, the sharingan came from her rinnegan while the byakugan was passed as it is.

The byakugan is kinda better, its just that the sharringan grants the user many things and therefor making the user powerful but i doubt the sharringan is stronger as the byakugan eyes can can do many things the sharringan doesn't the sharringan only can do a fraction of what the byakugan does.

she was not born with the byakugan...the byakugan requires chakra...there was no chakra before she ate the fruit. It wasn't until she ate he fruit did she obtain the doujutus

so no, the sharingan didn't evolve from the byakugan...it devolved from the Rinnegan that she had, which was like a Sharingan/Rinnegan combo, possessing the powers and tomoe of the sharingan on its Rinnegan ripples

Actually, the Rinnegan is. Hence the Juubi. The Sharingan is better because the user can modify it. 3T-MS-EMS. Byakugan is powerful, but the Sharingan fodderizes it.

Hmm.....I won't say the sharringan fodderises, if kaguya Would use her byakugan like she should we would see more of what is possible with it and what not but seems like that ain't happening. But look we haven't seen some one with the byakugan who actually uses it like it should be used the closes to that was neji (but he wasn't really powerful and what not) and kaguya (though y she ain't really using it). But hamuru had the byakugan but i don't know how he used it but knowing he had the byakugan and that was his only eye and him being the oldest brother i would think that if he is introduced into the story we would see some more form the byakugan. So umm i don't know

I disagree. It's the 9 Tomoe Sharingan that is the ultimate world altering eye. There is no way in hell it evolved from Byakugan.

I agree with Shelke, it came from Sharinnegan, Kaguya just had both.
