Then why didn't Madara get the same thing

and why did Sasuke only get one instead of two?

I know there are no answers yet, but it's just something that really bothers me.

Sasuke gained a unique rinnegan and it was never explained as to why. Madara never even commented on the fact that it was different when he saw it.

Madara also unlocked the Rinnegan sometime after his death with Senju DNA. Sasuke can achieve both at some point.

It allows him to use all Sharingan/MS Dojutsu in conjunction with Rinnegan Dojutsu.



I get that but, I think the point that I was trying to make back then was that it doubled up on the Yin portion of the chakra, thus mutating the Rinnegan's mutation further giving it Sharingan capabilities?

But wouldn't that be the same thing for Madara then?

Madara used Ashura's chakra within Hashirama's cells (which I would assume is not a lot) to gain the Rinnegan while he had more Yin chakra.

So why didn't his mutate then?

Well I hope so. I mean we saw adult Sasuke without a second rinnegan, unless he had it turned off.

Is it because of the concentric rings? If you look at the Sharingan it had one that the tomoe sit on, a "sharingan" with 3 sets of 3 tomoe would have concentric rings that the tomoe sit on.

Basically he's saying Madara had Hagoromo's Yin chakra when he awakened the Rinnegan and got Yang Chakra when he became the Juubi's Jinchuuriki.

Chakra directly from Hagoromo whether Yin or Yang is still his chakra, correct?

Sasuke already had some Yin chakra in the form of being Indra's transmigration; Indra is like Hagoromo's Yin chakra, but it is still not Hagoromo's chakra.

Hagoromo gave Naruto and Sasuke Yang and Yin chakra respectively.

Sasuke then has two portions of Yin chakra; one that is Hagoromo's actual chakra, and one acts as the Yin chakra to form Hagoromo's if a person is to acquire the Yang chakra.

Sasuke got double Yin as opposed to normal.

I guess it could be entirely not as complicated and be due to the fact that Madara created his and Sasuke didn't thus Madara "naturally" awoke it.

Madara's MS went to rinnegan, his EMS was spent on inzanagi and he has the left eye when he was old Madara (spare).

Sasuke went from EMS to rinnegan, those are itachi's eyes.

Not every rinnegan will look the same too, it's like a blueprint.
