Kage Bunshin spreads the chakra equally, it's generally impossible to determine the real one.

Madara able to do that might be just his special ability because he said he "was the only one" that could distinguish Hashirama's Mokuton Bunshin. He could distinguish Naruto's bunshin too.

Sasuke isn't confirmed to be able to distinguish Naruto's Kage Bunshin.

So how you can decide who copied from whom? Law was not introduced back then.

Only thing I see is that Sasuke has used it in a longer range and instead of a Log or wood clone like Yamato or Hashi used Sakura's jacket. Probably he used his teleportation techs to enhance it.

Maddy was fooled by hashirama with a clone feint so there's no plot hole with that, not to mention that when obito and sakura vanished into the kamui dimension, it further convinced her that clones did not possess enough chakra to last in that dimension.
