I think they are keeping it low key because it hasn't been introduced in the manga yet and they don't want to create plot holes or contradictions when it is introduced and people actually start seeing it for themselves.

Manga wise I assume Sarada will be the first to see it as manga wise she is the 1st amongst her team to awaken a doujutsu. She should be able to at least see his chakra color in his eye when he finally does activate it in the manga. Just my theory anyway.

No one has ever actually seen Boruto's doujutsu besides Boruto himself. If someone did, they would've noticed and/or mentioned it.

That's a good point I forgot about that little part. So is it only Mitsuki who has actually maybe seen it. I can get behind this. He is a relatively quiet guys so he isn't going to go blabbing about it to everyone.
