Salad's story is going to get seriously boring once the SS drama is done. Similar to the Sakura novel, once those Sakura fan's found out it wasn't much of a romance novel, people stopped talking about it Lol

I hope they make Bolt's story emphasis on action. I want to understand what type of Prodigy he is, his relationship with his mother/sister, Mitsuki, possibly his mother's clan, and what he wants to do as a shinobi.

To me that would be interesting to read. Too bad he wasted dumb panel time /w Salad over her parent's shitty relationship. I would of enjoyed seeing her train, learn from Sakura/Shizune/Possible Teacher, and knowledge of the Uchiha. Instead we got a soap.

This generation of Ninja(s) suck so bad compared to Naruto's generation in Part 1 in the sense of it not being exciting. Ninja came first, then family. Here it is the exact opposite, and people wonder why character's like Bolt are coming off less interesting than random characters like Mitsuki. That kid is mysterious, and interesting. Why? Because we don't know anything about his problems, and he does not look like a kid who has these new generation complications.

Salad only complained and had the most panel time for the chapter. Whether it was by insulting others, or scolding others, or having a daddy complex. She is no different than the rest of them, only in that her maturity is an illusion. She seems more mature since she was quiet and kept her negative thoughts mainly to herself.

I do acknowledge that Kishimoto wanted fans to immediately think she is intelligent due to how she carries herself (quiet), and her glasses (he said that was the reason he drew her with them)- but as far as what she said in the chapter and her actual actions she has failed to impress.
