Orochimaru was NEVER evil nor good- He just could care less of what people thought of him. He did whatever the hell he felt like doing, and that was destroying Konoha.

He fought a 4-tailed Naruto, fully aware that he couldn't defeat him for good, just because his chakra interested Orochimaru.

Who says he still isn't gonna try and destroy Konoha? We still don't know how things will turn out for Sasuke and his attitude towards Konoha. For all we know, Oro knows Sasuke might still want to attack Konoha in some way, and he's gonna use that as his chance to destroy it.

Or, as it is is strongly implied, Oro may know that Sasuke might not succeed or will succeed, so it has piqued his interest what may happen. Oro just views this whole situation as like a game or TV show, and he just wants to see how it ends.

Remember what Oro said: He was always the one putting wind in the windmills, now he wants to see what happens if someone else does it. He's the same, just in a laid back attitude now.

In the last manga he said; '' Waiting slowly for his wind to come ''. He just changed the way to get Sasuke's body. He's going to wait, instead of forcing him to get his body.

Orochimaru's goal; Immortality to gain every ninjutsu on the world. Immortality is already proven, that guy is one hell of a ------. To gain every jutsu, he propably wants the sharingan and therefore Sasuke/Uchiha Body. Does this make him a bad guy, myeah. A villain? No. Good guy? No. He's still the same, but fighting on Sasuke his side (the good guys side for now).

I hope Oro is planning something, else his character will be ruined for 100%.
