Do you even listen to yourself or are you just this biased? So obito isn't a mad psycho who faileD? What, Nagato did exactly what he wanted, right? Project tsuku succeeded did it? He captured hachibi and Kyuubi from bee and naruto, did he now? He got sasuke to do his bidding, huh? Obito literally failed near everything. What did madara fail? Not getting obito to revive him? That was it... you know, until it happened.
So, what, madara hasn't defied anyone either? He defied the entire uchiha clan and the world and seeked peace for his own reasons. He changed and went after project tsukuyomi because of what he read on a tablet about the past, not because of some mental trauma. What happened when Madara, 4 brothers and father was killed? He founded konoha with hashirama and sought after peace how he believed... till he changed his mind after reading the tablet and realizing chakra was a curse. On the other hand, Obito got swayed because of whatever his motives... (I won't finish this because I'll go into an obito rant and i'm trying not to for this week).
Madara was mentioned as the leader of the uchiha. Founder of Konoha. founder of the akatsuki (no it wasn't obito. Obito following black zetsu's lead isn't obito doing is own thing). He was the one who brought gedo back from the moon. He was the one who created zetsu and the zetsu army and basically started the assimilation of senju dna into man. He was the man who instilled fear through just his name. Obito just randomly swooped in during shippuuden and took over? just because he knows kakashi? Wtf?
Seriously, Everything you've posted thus far applies the same way to obito as it does madara. in some cases even more so to madara. Stop with the bias.
@Dragon: Read the above. With the added fact that obito was entirely irrelevant until his name was mentioned. Ooohhh he's a final villain because he knows kakashi. Yes, ok, that's more important than the guy who founded your village. Lovely.
"Madara just comes out from nowhere and says "Just as planned."" Black zetsu was guiding obito.
EDIT: I liked tobi, don't get me wrong. But, what you obito fans try to portray is that he was soooo relevant all this time. Before his name was sprung, everything about tobi was mentioned as madara. Literally, obito just came in and said, oh, yes even though i said I was madara I lied. It could have easily actually been madara.
