the sword is not ninjutsu its a spiritual weapon... one does not require the sharingan to use it... hence why orochimaru was searching for it. But it is a good combo with susanoo so itachi uses it with his. I believe we may see it once again. when itachi died the first time... he transfer powers to sasuke with his finger... when died the second time he touch fore heads with his brother... what could this mean? sword and shield!!!

explain how it is a ninjutsu... most ninjutsu requires hand signs. the sword would not fall into this category because it is not a physical object. the sword can only be used spiritually.

I wouldnt be surprise if he does (read my comments above^) but it will probably at the end of the fight when he has time for it. maybe the shield first when he needs major defense and the sword at the end to seal obito and madara.

The sword is not a part of susanoo so it is not the same thing... as stated by zetsu it was sought after by orochimaru. it doesnt require susanoo to use it. Itachi just uses it with susanoo. It doesnt take physical form too. no blood is shed from the two times we seen it, just sealing. it is more like a light that pierces through.

How is it made from the same thing? The Totsuka blade is made from the liquid held in the gourd, that's a totally different thing so don't make stuff up. We don't know if it's counts as ninjutsu or not, we don't write the manga so don't make assumptions and just wait. You will find that a lot of times, it's the exact opposite of what everyone else has thought.
