That means that since the beginning the ending battle was slated to be over who becomes hokage. I love Sasuke, I really do and its not that I can't see this happening, but that is some SERIOUSLY RUSHED DEVELOPMENT to say you planned it from the beginning. I mean Sasuke Part1- Part2 Hebi has always been a good leader, but .........................really?

OK, So this means, that between this war and the next hokage election Sasuke is gonna gain tremendous influence and change EVERYONE'S opinion of him to the point of actually recommending him as a hokage candidate rivaling Naruto?

Naruto and Sasuke appear to have a different ideology to what a Hokage should be, so I doubt it'll be a very friendly fight for the Hokage seat. Unless something would happen to make Sasuke think more like Naruto but I doubt that.
