How is he a better father, Sasuke is being a ninja, and protecting his child from sensitve information. Sarada is fed up, as has the right to be, but she doens't need to know about his mission.

A pat on the shoulder doesn't redeem Naruto from the way he tried Boruto. He blew him off to meet with Sasuke, when he promised he'd meet him before he left. But we don't seem to remember that. Naruto is not father of the year, he is just pressed for likes. And of course he would be extra caring with Sasuke's and Sakura's kid, because that naruto. Forever Pressed.

Except he still spent time with Boruto, even while working, by using his shadow clones, and this time it was important. Sasuke couldn't even say hi to Sarada, whereas Naruto could actually talk to her like she's a normal kid, hell, even if he left out details he at least told Sarada about her father, something Sakura never did.
