Yeah, with what you say and what I've seen in independent news outlets, Brazil is f***ed up. I think I can see why the people are like that:
1. Brazil is third world country. Obvious.
2. Brazil has a corrupted government. I've seen the stories about corrupt officials getting bribed and paid off or even doing illegal business, that's enough to get the people's blood boiling.
3. Drug Cartels run the streets. I seen enough documentaries within the last three or four years about Brazil and specifically Rio de Janeiro to know that illegal drug activity thrives on the streets.
So a conclusion about this is that if the World cup goes wrong, everyone is to blame, not just the people. The government is corrupt, the drug lords are brutal, and the international attention is only adding fuel to the fire.
