to be honest minato was considered one of the freates hokages ever and he was one of the best shinobi that the hidden leaf had produce. so why do people actually hate him??

I think it's the fact that he only used Rasengan and FTG in the few battles we saw him in. That's a dumb reason if you ask me, because he kicked ass even with the few jutsus he had

It's the Madara fanbois. (Not all, many) They seem to think that because they have decided to devote their virginity to the "evil dude Nr.1" It's not fanboying. In reality these are most likely the worst kind. These combined with those that are dedicated to being a fanboy without going for the mainstream characters. They don't think Itachi is the coolest akatski, it's Hidan or Sasori. In reality they are worse than the real fanboys since they just go hatin on everyone else instead of actually liking their own characters.
