its been a while,but am here.
lately, ave been surfing through the boruto franchise,and i have noticed part of the base solely hate him,either because hes the MC,or because hes better than their favourite,or plainly because hes the son of NaruHina.
First---hes not meant to be another version of anyone,hes his own individual,solely because of the environment he lived in,and the people he grew up around.example,we see that in the concluding part of the manga,where he fought with kawaki,he was almost like a replica of Sasuke,and the beginning of the manga,he was his own personality,probably because he grew up and trained with Sasuke,and last i confirmed,people act that same way.
Second---Boruto as the main character is a relief from Naruto .it enables us explore a blend of Hinata's and Naruto's individuality combined.and i want to throw something out there,with the way the power progression is going,Boruto will leave ALL his peers in the dust(including Sarada),Seriously,hes got Hamura's Chakra,Asura's chakra,Kurama's Chakra and later on,Momoshiki will curse him with his own chakara ...this guy is NEVER gonna stale with any of his peers,hes simply buffed with varieties.and to top that up,hes simply a prodigy,and from what DB showed us,ability wise,Boruto will simply be beast,so if you don't like him because you want him to be an underdog,sorry this manga is not for you,and no one will beg you to read it,because either way,Boruto franchise still makes their money.
Third---people hate him because hes Naruto and Hnata's son.yes,he his,but hes also his own individual,and greatness in his own genetics,which happens to come from them,either way,if you don't like the setting,go choke on it.no one wants you reading it.
its funny that those that claim they wont watch/read again,are actually the avid fans.
