I think that the Otsutsuki is a dying breed/race.. An this is why Kaguya is needed to repopulate the clan an is why Momo is willing to go to the lengths he's goin to make his clan/race a dominate force in the cosmos again.. (Apparently they have shinju trees across the cosmos for power & conquest.)
