[Discussion] So manga or Anime?

I want to stat Hunter X Hunter. And I was already told to watch the 2011 version. But should I read the manga instead? Also is there a lot of filler in the anime? If there is can you tell me what I need to ignore?

I only read the manga you should probably watch the anime because sometimes the art gets bad
And it's honestly not much like naruto at all

Anime IMHO. The drawing quality on the manga isn't as good. Recently it has started becoming pretty good but before it looked washed out

No I can't even remember a single filler.
New Manga and episode ( tuesdays ) every week.
Wouldn't read the manga until you've catched up with the Anime tho.

in my opinion watch hxh anime 2011 than when you catch up to episode 134 than go read the rest of the manga because that way you will understand the character plot and the story well that is my opinion

Like everyone says. Anime is the way to go (in this situation)

Normally Manga has better details but not in this case. Drawings were very lacking the norm. the best thing about anime is of course the color in motion
