Madara actually seems like he could be the closest to sage. I know you guys might think I'm crazy but this all adds up to me. He's an Uchiha living in a Senju Body, it's the combination of the bloodlines which made the Sage. He's obtained the Rinnegan which is the source of the jutsu "the creation of all things" and now the God Tree has been revived which will probably sprout a single fruit. If Madara consumes the fruit he'll have the natural chakra that was inherited by the Sage.
Obito seems like he's missing something, maybe the Rinnegan, he's only using one eye SO this might be his flaw.
