My only explanation is that each Kurama gained back their size and power (as I can't in good faith believe that 50% Kurama is better than 7 other Bijuu together) by becoming 100% yin or 100% yang respectively. So each is full powered, but only in one type.

This makes sense as the Bijuu are constantly regenerating their chakra, and we know that the Juubi could become 100% even without 100% of the Bijuu, so logically the same can apply to each individual bijuu.

You judged the size of Sasuke's Perfect Susanoo based on the fact that the scan showed his Susanoo's face up closer(which looks smaller compare to Madara's Perfect Susanoo's face...who the scan showed further)...it's only a matter of how the scan is drawn(it's really not that hard).​

He made his body bigger when fighting against the Tailed Beasts.

And made it slightly smaller when fighting Shinju for speed advantage.

It's not just Kurama. Gyuki could change size as well.
