i take it more as a meaning that hashi would be the only ninja that madara thought had a chance of beating him. Remember back when pein killed off jman? love jman to death but even i call bs when pein said if he knew how the bodies were connected he would beat him easily. You would be surprised how many mangas across japan like to put similar lines with big bad guys...because it conveys a sense of respect for their ultimate opponent, whether they could actually beat said bad guy or not.

Ok i wanna make some things clear... I am not sure he could defeat the current one but its possible because he defeated a Madara with ems , kyuubi and susanno... SOooooooo we have to realise a edo hashirama wouldnt stand a chance because when they die there will of fire leaves definitely doesnt come back to a edo version.... so a edo hashirama who lost to a ,will of fire old version of 3rd kage , wouldnt defeat this madara. ontop of that. ANywhere my opinion stands will of fire is super strong. Hashirama with will of fire is the only thing that could stop this current edo madara still. If they fought.

Another thing is what i dont get.. Itachi uses izanami on a kabuto who is a sage and has snakes that could bite him out of almost any genjutsu probably even blocked his vision. Still got cought in izanami.

I understand madara could lose a eyeball to escape a fatality from Hashirama using Izanagi. Butttt to defeat Hashirama why didnt he use Izanami ? and kil him ? if kabuto super sage x 10 different people got cought then maybe hashirama shouldve gotten cought also

If Harishima beat Madara multiple times, at best, the current Madara would give him a challenge, but he will lose as always. What was the improvement Kabuto did anyways? Just the Wood Release as most people assume? (I assume Madara died of old age since he met Nagato, so Kabuto revived Madara in a young state, WITH the Rinnegan unlocked, thus, past his PRIME.). Madara was just a failure his entire life who became the first Hokage's fanboy. Danzo attaining Harishima's DNA did not make him better than Harishima.
