[Discussion] So Madara has been nerfed?

He seems weak, even Juubito was kicking more ass then Juubi Madara, plus he's getting his ass kicked by Gai, not what I cant wrap my head around is the fact that before Madara had the Juubi he was:

In Edo form - Solo'd half the alliance and the Gokage
Alive but blind - Solo'd Hashirama, Naruto and Sasuke
One Rinnegan - Solo's all 9 Bijuu, Tobirama Sasuke and Naruto

Now a the Juubi Jin he is getting battered by Gai, granted only Taijutsu works but this is too ridiculous.​

Gai is badass, you arent overestimating juubidara for sure, hes incredible, but youre underestimating gai and the knowledge, the alliance achieved from juubito

Yes, it definitely feels like it. Now peope are all over the place saying "It's the 8th gate, what did you expect?!"etc., but seriously, a few weeks ago, hardly anybody would have claimed Gai to be stronger than Hashirama, the Gokage, Hokage etc. He was considered cool, funny, but ultimately at a middle fodder rank by almost everybody.

If he used the 8th gate to defeat some side character like one of the Akatuki, it would be fitting. But fighting on nearly the same Level as a Juubi Jin is way too much.

he isnt getting nerfed. madara likes this. look at the final thing guy said he was like i used my move on him and still hes up? or something of that nature and madara is just wiping away the blood and still standing. then kishi puts naruto at the very last panel. this is kishis was of working naruto back into the main fight

Ofcourse Madara is getting nerfed slowly but surely.. Exactly as you say. Ofcourse he will also get nerfed towards the fight with Naruto & Sasuke. After the fight with guy, he will show a power-up again. and slowly it drains back to a huge power nerf.​

IMO No. We are assuming Madara is at Gai's level. Madara is prolly allowing himself to be hit to see the extent of Gai's power. He can already heal himself. Gai really has no way to kill/seal Madara.

Did you think that madara is just playing tough??? He just lost 2 beasts and now is even more incomplete....

i kind of agree ......................... but the only reason Madara is getting wrecked is plot.

from the writer's view, he must make the sacrifice of his main character count for something/give it worth.

would you have liked it better if Gai used the 8th gate only to get one shotted by Madara ??

the Juubi's power was a disappointment, his Jin's are disappointments (Obito/Madara) and whining at this point is pointless/this is all expected.

Ofc gai's gates are super mode you'll die after you use em! + seems like taijutsu is juubi jinchs one of the major weaknesses so even more than that gai is "worse" ( i know some of you didnt understand it i ment he's best match up against him atm ) opponent madara could fight against right now with gates. logic.. just logic.

The nature of a human being surely is an amusing thing...

1. If Gai hadn't been able to even scratch Madara with his life-sacrificing technique, then people all over the place would have been butthurt at how 8 gates was so weak and that it was hyped undeservedly...
2. Now that 8 gates did really turn out to be beast, as it was hyped from the very beginning, people complain about Madara being weak/nerfed, when clearly he is just having fun...

Kishi played very smoothly with what he did with 8 gates and Madara, but as I already said, humans such as ourselves are quite amusing: finding flaws in every possible outcome there is.

He is just NOT fighting.... that simple. Tanking every attacks easly.
Gai was the first to give him some excitement.. so he might fight Guy seriously.. If Gai still have enough time.

Kishi usually do that to not show the enemy powers before the real fight.

I don't think Madara is taking it as easy as you guys are thinking. He even takes precaution so as not to get hit by the simultaneous blows cuz he knows it's gonna mess him up a bit. But the guy is a maso. He revels in pain. Remember when the tailed beasts knocked him around and he was covered in wounds, but the guy just got up and laughed. He gets excited whenever his opponent can hurt him in a battle.
