how is naruto not a realistic character? Have you ever met someone in reality who has gone through the equivalent of what naruto has, and come out of it the way he did? If not, then by what reasoning can you claim that the person Naruto is is impossible if that stuff happened in reality?

If by realistic, you mean that most people wouldn't do the things naruto does then slap yourself in the face because obviously the protagonist of a shounen manga is going to be able to live by the higher moral standards and make the right choices and when the normal guy wouldn't.

Like goodness gracious what have you people even read the manga? Do you even know what the protagonist stands for and why he is the way he is?
