At first it looks as if Sasuke sees Madara on the ground and charges at him in an attempt to kill him just like he did Obito.

But then later it turns out Hashirama was standing beside Madaras laid out body and the sage stops Sasuke and says to sasuke "there's no saving him because he had the juubi extracted."

After this Sasuke get's a sad and depressed look on his face.

It's really confusing... So did Sasuke charge in Madaras direction because he thought Hashirama was going to kill Madara and wanted to save him or was he trying to kill Madara?

I was quite surprised to with his sad expresion,, i thought he would never care bout madara. Or maybe he was sad because he realized that he's the only one left from the uchihas..in these 2 latest chapter sasuke's expresion so confusing. Remember in 690 when they've sealed kaguya, he looked sad too, not happy at all.
