[Discussion] So Kaido's Aim in Using SMILE

Apparently Kaido just wanted to use SMILE to bolster his crew's fighting power to make his army a big enough threat to copycat WB and fight a huge losing battle.

So in Luffy and Law taking down Doffy they are getting in the way of Kaido's suicide attempt.

Also I have a feeling that rather than Kaido being crazy powerful I think this chapter proves that the dude is mostly just crazy durable.

I am not saying that Luffy and Law can defeat Kaido alone, but u do have to remember that Doffy thrashing Law was mostly due to his speed and being a more seasoned fighter. Not durability.

I'd go along with that. He has lost to both marines and other yonkou but no one can actually kill the guy. This reminds me a bit of the 3rd raikage from naruto with his body being the ultimate defense and his attack being the ultimate spear. What happens when the worlds strongest armor clashes with the worlds strongest spear? That's an old Chinese idiom and I wonder if that may be the premise of Kaido v Luffy! That huge scar on his torso may even be self inflicted (although that would litterally be the same as the raikage).
