If I'm not mistaken, when Tobirama was explaining how the Sharingan is awakened, Hiruzen exclaimed, that regardless of the adversity surrounding the hatred of the Uchiha, Kagami and Shisui, whom he referred to as "Kagami's descendant" had broke the Curse of Hatred on their own, and weren't the traditional hatred mongering Uchiha that would be stereotypical of their clan.​
