Yh but edo tensei is a one time thing you don't see oro using the 1st and the 2nd every battle he could only do it once. Same with kabuto. But let's say just before the war stated and before he summoned his edo's, yh he was number 1 then but not anymore. And to make it worse oro striped him of his powers even more. He just didn't have what it took to be a villain that powerful he was lying to him self and it effected him in his first major fight. Let's leave the villains to the villains.

Since when is Edo Tensei a one time thing??? No it's not, they can be resummoned over and over again! Kabuto used Deidara when he captured Yamato, remember? And it doesn't matter if he's not number 1 anymore. He was. And at that point, he was eons above pretty much everyone else. And as a result, he should always be EVERYONE'S number 1, since these types of things are always taken at the certain ninja's peak of ability. You don't see people not including Hiruzen in top 10's because "he was old". They take him at his strongest, just like people should take and remember Kabuto.

He isn't weak. Even without Edo Tensei, he would beat Itachi or Sasuke 1 vs 1 no problem. And remember as well, he wasn't trying to kill them either, and Itachi couldn't be killed, so that makes it even more in favor of Sasuke and Itachi.

Haha, that was for show. First of all, he planned it SPECIFICALLY so that they couldn't kill him, it was all his strategy, so in reality, point for Kabuto. Then, he wasn't trying to kill them (or in Itachi's case seal) either! Also, he killed Itachi multiple times during the battle, and if it hadn't been for Itachi, Sasuke would have been captured too. Face it. Even without Edo Tensei, Kabuto is top ten material ABOVE Itachi and Sasuke, and with Edo Tensei (which is the fair way to do it) he is the clear number 1.

I remember when the sasuke/Itachi vs Kabuto chapters started We had all these kabuto fanboys with "Kabuto sage mode is stronger than Naruto" and "Kabuto has surpassed Oro!" and "I make horrible fanboy decisions!" (lol)

so after seeing Orochimaru use him and take what he wanted and merely leave him there, I have a question.
1) Are Kabuto fanboys even here anymore or did they jump the band wagon and find a new character to drool over?

Big deal he obtained his power's from DNA transfusion he used the resources he had to achieve his goal. In Kabuto's prime he was the strongest shinobi alive(aside from SO6P) with his edo tensei which as he states himself as his own power.(bottom left hand corner)

Even without edo tensei he is easily top 10 material if you want to be a bitch about it and restrict his power.

Now onto the subject at hand If you haven't noticed kabuto Yakushi has surpassed Orochimaru in strength he has his snake related ability's and edo tesnei but not only that he has the ability's of the sound 5,Taka and DSM.

What else could Orochimaru have done? Kabuto is trapped in Izanami he cannot be broken out by outside means. Orochimaru deactivated his Sage mode and because if it was still in use Kabuto would eventually run out of chakra and turned into a statue.And taking back his own chakra could also be said as helping Kabuto because it would be pretty f*cking hard having a normal life looking like that.

Itachi was obviously being cautious he doesent know how much Sasuke may have grown and what tech's he may have obtained that could defeat Kabuto.

How would it have been successful?

If it where a death match Kabuto Yakushi wouldn't have been so nonchalant about this battle and could have summoned Madara if he wanted/or Manda II which if you haven't noticed make's normal boss summons look like bugs compared to its size would have created increasable difficulty's to the Uchiha bros.

Kabuto could have escaped the area easily with Earth Release: Hiding Like a Mole Technique if the uchiha's where reckless enough to do that.And with that being said I have obliterated you'r arguments against Kabuto.

I started becoming a fan of Kabuto when he showed his twisted side/personality in his battle with Tsunade. he was around my 6th 8th fav but after I saw his back story and learned more about him he jumped to my #1 IMO.

Nope, not at all. Kabuto is in the top 3 most powerful characters the series has seen. He has given everything he could to the story and was a great character. Those 2 facts are good enough for me.

Um well if you include Edo Tensei, then yeah he is pretty ****ing beast easily top 3 with his full stock of Zombies available, even if you take away Madara (because apparently he could break free at any time) he is still between 5th and 3rd (under Tobi & Madara) he is arguably better then EMS Sasuke and BM Naruto.

Dragon Mode Kabuto with access to Manda V2, Nagato, the previous kage, and Ginkaku/Kinkaku on top of all of his own stolen clan abilities could definitely hold his own against most anyone.



I know people don't like to count IWR but that's total BS. Like to see how good Jiraiya would be without his summons to help him.
