But Kabuto was able to give dead jinchuuriki the beasts back, even thought the beasts had already been extracted. Giving kurama's chakra to Minato would be the same thing.

I think having the Rinnegan using the other bodies as paths of Pein makes it possible to use their jutsu they had when they were alive. Like when Yahiko's body was used as Tendo Pein, he was still able to use his rain/water sensing ability. I think it says he has that ability in the Rain village. Maybe the Mazou had something to do with it . Or maybe having the Gedo and the Rinnegan allows for that to happen.

It kinda makes sense if he does that to give nardo full kyuubi. so maybe
