It seems to be in the Uchiha district / a Uchiha based building... Mabey an earlier building that was abandoned when Konoha was built. But i don't think that it is Shisui.

I disagree that the two places that you posted are the same. If you take another look at the arch, the lower of the two horizontal bars are not the same for both pictures.

Also, I was under the impression that Pain destroyed the main clan meeting place. Which is the place that you have shown when sasuke was younger.
This new shrine should be placed near the Konoha edge/border.
What also interested me is sasuke said "is IT here" i was under the impression he was looking for a person, not an object.

It can't be anything inside Konoha, because after Pain only a crater was left. It could be near the village or sth... but, yeah, it will have to be connected to the Uchihas; it's not like they had only one place after all. Maybe it's a new Uchiha location.

Sorry but your pictures actullay prove that it IS NOT the uchiha district. And I think you were trying to say it was the Nakano Shrine, where the cat lady was.

Look at the last panel of chapter 617. You see an archway with two buildings clearly in front of the arch.

Then look at the left picture in the middle from the earlier chapter, you see a similar looking arch, however there is only one building.

My thoughts exactly I was thinking the Uchiha district yesterday when I read the chapter. I think the person who knows everything Sasuke is going to meet is Shisui, because of what Sasuke back in that cave with Orochimaru "The feeling of my brother Itachi, who became a betrayer and died all to protect the village as a Konoha shinobi" then Sasuke questioned what was Itachi, their clan, and the village. The only person who been threw that same experience as Itachi is Shisui. We don't much about Shisui, so this would be a good opportunity for Shisui appearance, I think away :y

It looks like the shrine to me. It has the torii which is the hallmark of a shrine. The building that is at the top of the steps between the walls and the torii looks like it's gone, probably included in some of the damage done by Pain, or dismantled for reconstruction. That's why in the new chapter there is no building when you look through the gap behind Taka.

Kishimoto probably did this deliberately, removing landmarks in order to keep their location a mystery and spark debate among fans. Even the part of the torii that would have had the Uchiha symbol on it is busted.
