Considering we just spent over 12 weeks with the Itachi/Sasuke/Kabuto fight, I think Kishi will drag it out as long as possible ;)
He couldn't spare a few panels showing some growth during the war for characters like Neji, Rock Lee, Hinata or Shino, but he had plenty of time to bore us every week with this crap.

Crunchyroll just announced:

"Kishimoto notes that he has had an ending in mind and that the manga is now rapidly moving towards that climax."

Thoughts? Happy or not to see the manga ending?

EDIT: Also, prediction? The 5 Kages die (maybe just Tsunade) and Naruto becomes Hokage and lives happily ever after.
I think we're coming to the right time. You can't have a bigger climax than an all-out world war where thousands of ninja are dieing.

My prediction is this: Sasuke is ultimately redeemed by Naruto. Sasuke is revealed as the hero who ended Edo Tensei (along with Itachi), and then helps to defeat the final enemy (Tobi or Madara, it doesn't matter which. I suspect the two will merge together as one in the same). Sasuke, the redeemed hero, becomes Hokage ending the cycle of hatred and cleansing the Uchiha name. Naruto travels the world like Jiraya did, being friends with the Bijuu and spreading the message of peace of love.

It's a little corny, but I think that's the way the manga is heading.

Exactly! He rushes everyone's fight, but immediately slow down when it comes to the uchiha. I swear Itachi and Sasuke relatioonship is awkward, I bet most people who have brothers were awkward when they saw the last scene. I wonder what kind of relationship Kishi has with his bro!

No, Kishi is a corny shit writer, so that would most likely happen, but your work compare to his is a masterpiece.

This is kind of inevitable. I mean after the 4th Ninja World War, Naruto vs. Sasuke, and Naruto becoming Hokage where else can Kishimoto go? I think everything will be tied up by then and if Kishi decides to keep going, the plot would get too stale.
