Nicholas approached the woman. It was a sunny day, a cool breeze rustled through the grass. Light glimmered off the gentle river beside them.
You know, I think I have the perfect gift for you...
Nicholas slid paper ball into his right palm and threw it straight at the woman. Half-way between them, the paper ball erupted into a blinding flash of light. It was at that moment that Nicholas did two things, he first made a clone of water from the river on the right, followed by shrugging off his coat and wrapping it around himself. With some additional chakra the coat caused Nicholas to blend into the environment, becoming invisible.
(Bunshin No Jutsu) - Clone Technique

The clone ran across the water towards Hiko. As she gained back her sight it would appear as though Nicholas had used to cover to reach the river and begin running towards her. The Nicholas was stealthily looping around towards her right side.

A bright and sunny day, the sound of the wind could be heard gliding across the grassy plains followed by the tranquil sound of the moving river, truly a peaceful day which hiko could not help but enjoy its serenity, a faint smile she gave as she took a deep breath almost as to savour the air around her as she took a big stretch loosening the muscles and joints of her body.
"mmmmmhmm, what a beautiful day it is"
she watched the river flow majestically down its chosen path, gently carving away at the land, this was however a short pleasure as it was soon to be interrupted by the loud obnoxious laughter of a rather large man, to Hiko it was almost like nails on a chalkboard after enjoying the peaceful sounds of the river which annoyed her to no end. She turned and faced the man with her right hands slightly hovering over the hilt of her blade on her right hip, her left hand would be grasping the top of the scabbard, thumb ready to flick the guard releasing the sword from its shackle.
she could hear the rambling of an old man, something about a gift he mentioned as he threw a spherical shaped object, no sooner as it left his hand it had erupted into a blinding flash of light, Hiko was familiar with flash bombs but it still did not stop her from succumbing to its effects, as she regained her sight the opponents was steadily approaching her from her left side, as to her knowledge whiles unknowingly the real opponent was making his way from her right, Hiko stood her ground and allowed the clone too approach, all the while the real opponent would also be approaching from her right and assumably entering close to Hiko around the same time as the clone.
As the clone came into range, she flicked the guard of her katana using her left thumb which was steadily on her sheath and using her right hand took hold of the hilt drawing the blade from its confinement, during this motion she channelled her water chakra through the blade shaping water around it take the very shape of her blade as she drew, elongating the blade by a few meters with water, moving forwards with her left foot and pivoting all in one fast and swift motion she slashed and turned clockwise in a full 360 degrees motion, slashing through the clone to which she felt no resistance, from the moment her blade touched the illusion she was fully aware that it was a fake, and catching the real opponent likely across his belly due to the size difference between her and him, causing severe bleeding if not deep enough for decapitation.
As Hiko completed her 360 degree motion she would swiftly glide the flat side of the blade above the sheath and re-sheath her sword, confining it once more after it had just tasted its first drop of blood in weeks, Hiko's glare would be focused upon the location of where she felt the resistance of her blade and would still remain on guard in case of anything.
"Sorry.. but I didn't like that gift one bit"
she would say in a sarcastic tone.

As the blade came around, Nicholas threw off his cloak while raising his left arm while keeping his forearm facing outward. Its from that point that a round shield of water took form extending about a foot in diameter. The liquid shield caught the incoming blade and stopped the spin dead in its tracks.

With the sword and shield at a stalemate, Nicholas reached across his body with his right hand and grabbed the scimitar held on his left hip. Taking a page from his opponent's book, he focused water chakra to the blade as he pulled it free, forming an extra layer of water over the already deadly sword. In the same motion he slashed diagonally upward, running the blade across her exposed side underneath her outstretched arm, around rib cage-level.
(Suiton: Mizu Kuri no Yaiba) - Water Style: Sword of Draining
The water coated sword would leave a healthy gash in Niko's side cutting into her ribs, but not breaking them completely. Nicholas stepped forward with his left foot and raised his right. With a powerful thrust he drove the flat of his right foot into Niko's side, connecting in the same spot he had just slashed. The kick would knock Niko back while also fully breaking the ribs that were just cut, more than likely Niko would tumble to the ground in pain.
Nicholas let the water shield melt away and pulled free the scimitar's twin that was held on his right hip. He pointed the water-less blade down towards the girl. Running up his bare forearm was a tattoo that read 'nice', along the other a tattoo read 'naughty'.
Tis the season for a good fight, wouldn't you say?

Hiko's blade flew true, however was met by a solidified shield of water from her opponent, the sound of water splashing was loud as the two techniques collided, this was not the only thing she was met with however a smile he gave off which for some reason agitated her to no end.. this was a face she would very much like to punch... needless to say she did the next best thing, as her blade was stopped by the shield, sliding her sword off the shield she continued the rotation of her body, whiles pivoting on her right foot still to continue the spin, she would raise her left leg and extend it high and swiftly outwards aiming a swift round kick at her opponents unguarded face on his right side packed with a ton of momentum and power, the power behind this kick would cause her opponent to stumble to his left hand side.
Following up from her kick Hiko focuses water chakra into her left fist almost immediately after her kick and by thrusting her left fist forwards with great momentum sends a blast of water straight towards her adversary.
Just as he was drawing his saber a foot caught him flush in the mouth. There was power behind her kick that caught Nicholas off guard. He felt his teeth cut into the flesh on the inside of his mouth causing a spittle of blood to fly free as he staggered to the side. His vision blurred for a moment as his ears rang, but he spun with the kick almost on instinct to turn back and face his opponent while once again lifting the shield. He replenished it with more water, this time meeting a blast of the same element.

The water splashed ferociously against the shield, but Nicholas stood strong. As he guarded high, he used his free right hand to respond in kind. A stream of water gushed forward from his right fist aimed downward towards the ground where Niko stood. The water would crashed into the earth and form a miniature knee-high wave that aimed to knock Niko's legs out from under her.

With her legs thrown back, Niko would fall forward, becoming parallel with the ground. At that moment Nicholas stepped forward and used the metal guard of his saber as brass knuckles, driving his fist down into her back just between the shoulder blades. The downward punch would drive Niko into the ground below.

A collision of water resounded through the air as sprays of mist and droplets of water joined the splatter of blood that soon hit the ground washing it away, the moment her opponent put up his shield she knew that her blast would be in vain and already began planning her next action, she responded swiftly of course, she quickly reached into her pouch gripping hold of a explosive kunai using her left hand, swiftly throwing her left arm upwards she pulled the kunai from the pouch and let it loose through the air, the explosive kunai aimed straight and true, towards and slightly above the head of her opponent, being that there was not much distance between the two of them the kunai would meet its destination as intended within a second, exploding viciously near her opponent the blast would cause his 5 senses to go into disarray. The loud bang would cause the nearby bird to cowardly fly away as the sound of there cries would be further drowned out by the loud explosion.
Almost immediately after launching her explosive kunai through the air, Hiko would take flight into the air using her powerful legs she jumped upwards and tucking her left leg under herself and extending her right leg outwards, leading with the knife edged side of her foot and her heel, she propelled herself through the air delivering a swift flying kick to the opponents face once again, aimed straight to the temple, a good strike here had the potential to kill if not knock the obnoxious fool out, it would also cause him to go flying backwards.
"Maybe this will keep quiet for a while"

been informed that 3 days is the default time limit for official fights it has been 3 days since my last post and i think i will be calling it ^^ thank you for the fight it was really fun but im gonna take the win here ^^
