So, is this Orochimaru's Akatsuki?

So, I just read the new Naruto Gaiden chapters and it all reaks of Orochimaru. Sasuke says that he thinks the army was made even before the war, thus explaining why Orochimaru was so laid back at the end of part 2. He was simply waiting for things to calm down, let Sasuke and Naruto take care of Kaguya and then step inn and take charge after they did all the hard work. Orochimaru probably needs fresh cells from Sarada (she has Uzumaki & Uchiha cells) for his own body, the hybrid clones look to have "fake" eyes and are probably not in Sasuke's league in eye power.

Am i way off here or is this the consensus?

Sasuke said army was made earlier than expected probably referring to how an army was made before kaguya took on sasuke and naruto, cause If it was later it wouldnt make sense when sasuke said earlier than expected because kaguya was defeated how would sasuke expect kaguya to build an army when she is dead Its like saying sasuke expected kaguya to die and still build an army after her death. I dont think he would know, its just his speculation. He was probably paranoid cause he had no villian to kill and was traveling along the whole globe and found something out. Thats when he knew.

So, this is Kaguya's doing. Apparently it's some kind of Uchiha-clone-army. Most likely it was created (openly or through indirect manipulation) by Black Zetsu, since he was behind everything related to Akatsuki and influenced the Uchiha from the beginning. Maybe they are a leftover project from sometime before he found Madara and decided to use him, maybe they were built as a reinsurance if the moon's eye plan would fail...

Ya thats what i was saying. Army was probably made before kaguya and black zetsu fought sasuke and naruto and not after. Someone like black zetsu who lived before madara probably had a backup plan cause there were others before madara who experimented with the plan. Its a possibility. That mystery guy knows about itachi death and knows about atasuki and his leading the army suggest he probably existed long time atleast during the previous war. Why would new generation remember something particular like that.

the thing that disqualifies Orochimaru from being behind it imo is that i believe he would never implant Sharingan in anyone but himself. The only way he could be behind it is if he had already souped himself up using something from Madara's corpse. Again, my opinion.
