Toneri didn't take it, he drained his chakra. This undocumented battle/instance doesn't even need responding.

1. the first meeting between real toneri and not a puppet and naruto, he didnt even drain it, he just made it come out of him causing a big ass explotion. and it took 3days for him to come back and sakura had to give him most of her chakra.
2. during the final battle, toneri absorbed naruto's chakra in to himself, making naruto go on his knees, thats when hinata gave him her hamura chakra that flows within her.
did you watch the movie?

Because he didn't use it, doesn't mean the lost it, he just got nerfed so they could have a big fight, toneri ain't big man against RSM naruto.

Do I need to? Sounds like it all ends just fine without Naruto going RSM
If Alucard went full power and just slaughtered everyone instantly. Hellsing would only be a few minutes long.

he didn't lose it , but he doesn't even need to be equal to sasuke considering they are friends again. even if the series carry ons i think sasuke and naruto won't have anymore fights
The real question should be many of these threads are you going to create. Naruto didn't lose RSM. Naruto not using RM is not evidence of him losing RM.
Naruto grow stronger over the time skip after the war.
Naruto's the Last improvements/new feats:
If we take all of Naruto feats from the Last, plus all of the tail beast chakra (he never lost their chakra, Sage said the tail beast can always communicate to each other through their chakra Naruto possess), and his RSM (he didn't lose RSM) it's clear that Naruto doesn't need a new power up. Naruto has only improved and grew in power.
I like how Naruto is growing. He focusing more on control now. He has the potential to use the tail beast chakra any way he pleases.
Naruto grow stronger over the time skip after the war.
Naruto's the Last improvements/new feats:
- Base mode Naruto can create a FRS with one hand, throw it, and control it's trajectory (anything Naruto can do in his base mode can be done in his other modes)
- Rasengan blast (that's the new Rasengan he used at the end of the movie. It shoots out like a blast of energy, similar to how the beast ball can be shot out in a wave form)
- Improvement in speed (base mode Naruto blitz an enemy while attacking him head first and he has learned how to fighting continuously at high speed)
- Improvement in strength (Naruto defeat Toneri with a punch and that attack had so much force and power it completely destroyed the ground underneath Naruto, similar to how 8th gate Gai destroyed the ground when he attacked Madara. But difference was Gai's attack was directed towards the ground while Naruto's attack was parallel with the ground)
- Improvement in taijutsu/agility (base mode Naruto kicked ass in taijutsu throughout the entire movie. He easily defeat puppets and Toneri using taijutsu)
- Naruto can release the 9 tails from his body and the 9 tails can use chakra mode
- Naruto can fly without needing to be in RSM (he was in KSM when he was flying so I believe he needs natural energy to fly)
- Partial chakra mode (Naruto can now gather 9 tails chakra just around a specific body part IE: his arm)
- Chakra shield (the jutsu Naruto used to block Toneri's strongest attack, moon cutting jutsu, at the end of their battle. Naruto focus chakra on his hand to create a shield). This was the greatest feat in the movie. Blocked a jutsu that cut the moon in half. D*mn
- Unknown jutsu he used to remove the chakra ball from Hinata (it appears to be yin-yang based since he was able to remove the charka ball from Hinata without injuring her)

Naruto didn't lose RSM, you just want him too. Naruto doesn't need to go all out on someone who isn't as strong as him. Hirata may Hinata may have been kidnapped, but that doesn't mean he should overexert himself just because of it. Use your common sense man.
Hago also told him and kurama to manage the meeting place so all of the tailed beast could talk through the chakra they gave to Naruto. How would they do that if all of the chakra was going to run out?
