You seen the nue arc i thought it was pretty lit we get borutos dojutsu, we see mitsuki in action meet new characters and the mystery of the nue and masked person was cool

You say that but I actually find myself liking most Naruto material outside the manga. So although he can lay it on too thick about the anime and novels, I tend to agree with the guy in a general sense.

Boruto plot so far has been Meh. Characters and friendship atleast was much better portrayed than Naruto ever was. Also the art and animation manage to stay more consistent than we've ever had in shippuden.

Decided to go for Boruto AND Yu Yu Hakusho. Consider me sufficiently hyped.

I think Boruto will be for me, a guy who happily watched all 51 episodes of Rock Lee & His Ninja Pals. I love character-based chilled series that some people would call 'filler'.

The possession plot is only worth watching for the overarching connection to borutos story in general(which I won't spoil). But as a fan of all naruto media you would probably enjoy boruto to an extent. There's things I don't like, but I am gonna watch cause I still wanna see what they do(the best thing sp/ike/kishi could ever do for pt 3 was show that kawaki vs boruto deal) and I wanna see what they do with the old k11(I'm not gonna lie I wanna see a few of em killed off)
