Like some already showed: there were indeed women with the Sharingan, but the story focuses more on the male members of the clan: Obito, Sasuke, Itachi, Madara.
Even Sasuke's parents were not shown for very long.
That's why the manga has never shown a female Sharingan user - they simply are not important enough to show up in the story (well aside from the anime of course)

Not proven wrong, i was asking a question; not making a statement. my statement was actually that it wouldnt make sense if there were no female uchiha with sharingan as the byakugan which is one of the earliest forms of sharingan is inherited by both males and females. i'm all FOR seing a female sharingan user... oh well... maybe if naruto and hinata have a child... might start the cycle over again lol

Guys i would like to point out that the character dress in purple/violet is not a girl is definitely a guy. idk about the one in the pink hair like sakura in the background tho.

hmmm .... ya, if there were female uchiha's with shraingan i believe it would be mentioned at least once so i guess that only the males of the clan have it, anyways .... does it really matter ??
