I made this thread out of random thoughts that came into my head in that I want someone other than the fan favorites (Naruto, Sasuke, etc) to sacrifice their life.
Now if let's say you had control over one scenario in the war but that control is only limited to choosing a member of the allied shinobi that isn't one the bigger more popular characters to die and how that event would come which Shinobi would you think would have an awesome death scene.
If I could choose I'd say Guy. Seeing as Gari seems to use his kekkei genkai with taijutsu I'm assuming he is very skilled in that area so while Kakashi and some of the others are facing the Mist Swordsmen Gari is able to draw some attention to himself and ends up fighting Guy and Lee.
Both Lee and Guy end up having trouble with Gari because from the stance Gari showed he's probably good with counter attacks. Towards the end as Gari is about to use his kekkei genkai on Lee Guy in one last burst opens the eighth gate to save Lee.
