Do you think he would have been gradually able to change the world to the extent that Naruto has? Or perhaps maybe a bit lower of an extent? With his Rinnegan I reckon he would grown a lot stronger and would gain quite a few followers and supporters like he, Yahiko and Konan did with the original akatsuki.

well idk.. but Yahiko was the known leader for Akatsuki.. Nagato would probably still follow his lead.. Nagato is like a secondary leader somewhat .. never being the true leader.. but with Yahiko .... um who knows..
not the same as Naruto though because Naruto is kinda like the reason everybody acts nice.. <_< or something..

Nagato would have met Tobi either way. Nagato was tied to Madara and as long as he had those eyes it wouldn't have mattered he would have met Someone who was associated with Madara. So it's stupid to think that he would have lived freely with Madara's eyes.
