So if my rep bar is bigger than someone elses, what does it mean?

It doesn't mean anything at all really.

seconded S, rep and rank on a site doesn't mean shit, I would say the things you say and how respectable you do them. I dunno also if you're an old member that makes you more respected too. Btw I do make good threads but you know I'm just lazy or not fond to debate with people in my threads rather someone does it for me lol

@Bold Which I believe led to being more creative, all in attempt to power up their rep bar.

Well there's only a handful of FGers, many of the other members get their high post count from RP. At least, that's what I have seen RPers say. "Your post count can increase fast when RPing."

EDIT- Just to elaborate a little more, I've been in two RP villages. I know about the taverns and such, a lot of spam goes on in there. Then there's the RP as a whole, which includes Konoha Town, this place is the METROPOLITAN of spam. It also consist of creating an imaginary character and having them talk to another, which is essentially what the Ninja World is. I don't know who judges the value of these posts, but the RP seems to be important for a lot of people. Obviously as adults, if we were to debate what is more valuable; creating imaginary characters and having them fight each other (sometimes bickering and complaining whenever rules are added, stuff taken away, changes suggested etc.), or participating in very simple games with friends (which has its own share of complaining as well), the premise itself would make the argument redundant outright silly. Not to mention, it would be one big battle of hypocrisy. However, I think that many of the members with high post counts are from the RP world. The others are of course from FG, but there's only like 15 of them (compared to the massive world that is RP), and probably like 3-5 dedicated ones (some of them are even RPers).

Finally someone gets it that RPG contributes more spam compared to FG... yeah spamming in FG is not an easy thing it needs consistency and also that section helps people to level up quickly, I can even name quite a few that have used Fg to level up lol. I also have joined this RP world but now I have no intention of spam lol I think I've spammed too much! XD I can say post count really dont mean sh*t since I think I have like 6k legitimate non-FG posts lol anyway you guys rather find a new name for people who abuse rep and dont call them rep whores! It sounds like as if women are the ones that do it!

lol yeah I haven't seen anyone explicitly state that FG produces more spam, but I have noticed some seemingly believe FG is the biggest spam dump on the base. I think those people have never seen the RP community. Yeah it's definitely not easy spamming and hey, Rei once even was giving a reward in that section.

Yeah post doesn't really mean much either, one can log on for four hours and legally spam with several friends and then log off and do whatever they do. Then we have the person that can be on all day (I can be guilty of this), but don't post nowhere nearly as much. Some people are too quick to judge. Also, it seems as if Versuvio believes the appearance of having a high post count is cool lol (I heard he fixed it that way). And if someone has like 10,000 posts, it's a safe assumption that some of it consist of spam. I don't think anyone believes that all 24,826 of my post consist of zero spam. I guess we shouldn't get off topic though.

Anyways I agree with Chillax last line. "It's individuality rather than rep that gets you attention."

Creating and maintaining this site is actual work of which V takes care of regularly. He doesn't 'edit' his post counts. Why would it even matter to him.. smh

I think he works on the site to much to edit his post count. Can you even do that?

Spam in Rp is usually people role playing. They need post count for certain bios'/abilities and the idea behind is that they gain some RP experience of that level while trying to attain those things.

I was getting at the concept of it, which enters the gates of triviality. It's just one big game, a sophisticated one I admit. But hey, some prefer checkers and some prefer chess. Also, I'm referring to the RP as a whole. There is roleplaying that doesn't involve bios and such things.
