I have a few questions i was gonna ask my cousin, but you seem to know more than her.

Do I have to watch SAO in order to watch the one with sinon?

Do they get stuck in the game again?

Yeah you should, because a large part of the plot is cause by the aftermath of season 1 of SAO, specifically the 1st half of season 1.

No it's not like that, but there is the tension of death involved.

People are still dying irl if they play the game? Why are they playing then?

Are there still major plot holes like before?

If there's government involvement with VRMMO's, conspiracies or a push to have them banned then I'd really try to pick up Season 2.

That's all I have to ask about/

It's too cheesy for me, the love they have is that silly Disney love.

My friend is trying to get me into that.

I'm still not convinced.

This is actually why I don't like SAO. Goes from badass action/ adventure anime and all of a sudden halts to this Slice of Life MMO thing for awhile.

Yup.. that's exactly what they liked about the show. those whose blabbering about they liked it cause of the character development/story line etc is deceiving him/her self because there's hardly any development for the character at all, they probably confused Kirito being emo through the show as development, and the storyline is cliched as ****.

Yea of course. There's an abundance of animes that involves characters getting stuck in a virtual reality game.
You shouldn't use words you dont understand.

Stuck in a virtual game ? that's what you called theme/setting son, story line is what goes beyond that :)
and yes there are tons of series where people stuck in virtual reality game/space.
